The list & details of various Elastomer products manufactured by MOULIK RUBBER INDUSTRIES is given below :-

1. Flourinated Rubber ( FKM )

iton has the best proven fluid resistance capacity with four Basic properties :
1. Highly Heat Resistance
2. Chemical Resistance
3. Low Temperature Flexibility.
4. Resistance to Compression Set.

Extreme Resistance to Temperature

The resistance of FKM to degradation by heat is outstanding & Simultaneously retains its good mechanical properties better than any other available Elastomer.
FKM's continuous service limits are considered to be over.
3000 hrs. at 230°C * 1000 hrs. at 270°C * 240 hrs. at 295°C
FKM is mostly serviceable in dynamic application down to Zero to -10°C F, even if special formulated FKM use in dynamic application's down to -65° F also.

Flame Resistence / Resistence to Sun, Weather, Ozone.
Due to halogen containing polymer FKM has more resistant to burning than other exclusive Hydro Carbon Rubber. FKM has best resistence to Sun Weather and Ozone.
Application of FKM.
Exclusive heat and fluid's resistence assures its vital application even in Aircrafts, Space Shuttle, Submarine, Mechanical Seals, Pumps, Valves, Fertilizer, Chemical and Turbo Engine Manufacturing Industries uses products like 'O' Rings, Gaskets, Seals, Bellows, Diahragm, Oil Seal etc.

 

2. Silicone Rubber

Silicone Rubber is having very broad service temperature range that exceeds any other commercial available Rubber. Silicone Rubber can withstand upto -90 °C temperature to + 200 °C. It has excellent electricals properties even at elevated temperature.
Silicone compounded products burns with direct flame to form a non conducting ash which continues to function as an insulation. Silicone are testless non toxic & completely odourless & therefore used when physicological inertness is required. They have thus found uses in surgical implants in the human body. Silicone is having wide range in hardness from 30° to 80° durometer ( Shore A ) to design the product at require hardness for suitable application.
Application of Silicone :
Due to its high dielectric strength & physical Toughness, Cable connectors, Terminal Covers, Spouts, Sleeve made from Silicone Rubber gives excellent results, as silicone componenets are nontoxic food quality & odourless having huge application in dairy plants to maintain sanitary condition in storage & processing Tanks, for Baby feeding bottle Nipple & Thermoware product such as Flasks, Water Jugs & Food Processors.
Also most useful in Electrical, Computers, Tele Communication, Light fittings, Circuit braker, Switchgear, Space & Defence Industries.
 

3. Polyurethene ( Adiprene )

Polyurethene Rubber is having high tensile strength with excellent Oil resistence & good low temperature flexibility. The most excellent characteristics of this rubber is abrasion resistance & high tear strength & also high elongation at high hardness. Its having temperature resistance from -25° C to + 95 ° C

Application of Polyurethene Rubber is for high abrasion resistence, products manufactured from it includes Coupling Bush, "U" Type & "V" Type Hydraulic Seals & Sheet, Pad etc.

 

4. Ethylene Propylene Terpolymers

E.P.D.M. Rubber has excellent resistance to steam & withstand a continuous temperature of 140°C. Its performance in steam is even better at the same temperature in dry heat. Even it remains serviceable at high steam up to 250 PSI, due to excellent resistance to weathering & ozone. Better elastic properties & easy processibility are added advantage, high volume resistivity Dielectric strength are the other features of components manufactured from E.P.D.M. Its finds maximum use in Automobile Industry for Door Sealings, Glazing & Sponge Sealing, hose for rediator & also used in Textile & Dyeing Plants as a Door Sealing Gasket for Auto Clave & Dyeing Machine.
